PORNO
Porno is a seemingly harmless hobby to many people, including many Christian men. I have fallen into its trap several times as a Christian, having been exposed to it uninvited, via spam e-mails, or cable television. I have always broken the spell for fear of losing part of my heavenly reward. It has never been easy, it is a powerful addiction. Masturbation is never mentioned at all anywhere in the Bible. In Genesis 38:8-10 God is displeased with Onan, because he has sex with his brother’s widow and instead of marrying her and impregnating her with offspring as the Law of Moses says that he should, he spills out his seed on the ground, mocking her. This passage is used by some Christians to say that God hates masturbation, but I think they are missing the point. God is angry at Onan for mocking his brother’s wife and merely using her for pleasure. King David had a rule that if any one of his soldiers had a nocturnal emission while they were out on the battlefield (he fantasized in his sleep and came in his shorts), that soldier was to be put outside the camp for an evening. This was not so much a punishment as it was a precautionary measure to insure that the Lord was not offended because it was very important to David that the Lord and his army of angels stick close to David’s army and protect them and help them in battle. There was no such rule for when they were at home in the city. Ephesiains 6:15-20 tells us to avoid having sex with a harlot (prostitute) because this makes you “one flesh” with her. Sex with a woman is a high and holy thing to God, and should be to you as well. Masturbation is not making a person “one flesh” with another and is not identified as sin in the New Testament or the Old Testament. Looking at porno is a form of prostitution because you are paying someone else to get naked so that you can lust after them. It is sin. I saw some hard core porno as a young teenager, before I was a Christian. Up to that point, I had been doing my best to remain a virgin until I got married. Once I saw the porno, I was driven to lose my virginity more than anything else in my life, and wounded my soul in the process. I sold my soul to the devil for sex. It has taken much prayer on the part of my fellow Christians to heal me from the scars of those days and to deliver me from the demons that tormented me daily. I believe that many women and innocent children are raped by angry, sex crazed, sexually frustrated men who are addicted to porno. Like every addiction, porno can lead to an increasingly greater level of depravity in a deceptively gradual fashion. If you must fantasize, if you must let off steam from time to time or even every day, try thinking about somebody you really care about, not some stranger in a porno magazine or film. And please take note that porno at the least tends to turn gentlemen into stupid asses who think that all that women are good for is sex. I hear about it every day from the sweet, kind, beautiful women that I know. You don't want to be a stupid ass, and have your soul battered by the sluts, until you turn into just another creepy zombie, do you? I have been there, done that, got the T shirt. The God-man Jesus helped restore me into somebody that I love and respect again. Women make
better friends than men. Most men just want to argue and fight about
religion and politics. Women are more like cats. As long as they have
enough food to eat and a warm place to sleep, they are usually happy and
just want to cuddle and purr. Pray that God will send you some women as
friends. It can be a little like pulling yourself up by your bootstraps to
collect female friends without God's help. If you don't have any female
friends already, women tend to think you are creepy. Some woman may feel
that you have too many women in your life. Oh well. I would rather have
several women friends who think that I am a cool dude, than just one woman
who thinks I am a loser. Most women are enigmas (unsolvable riddles).
Enigmas are designed to get your mind working overtime over nothing so
that you can't think clearly and you end up making foolish decisions. It
has been said that men will never figure women out. Of course not, they
deliberately confuse us continually. Don't be intimidated, don't get
angry, enigmas are just one of the Devil's cheap mind tricks. It is like
my Dad used to often tell me, "Son, there is often a lot less there than
meets the eye." Not all women are enigmas. My sister and my mother are
exceptional women. What you see is basically what you get. This is the
kind of woman to marry, if you are inclined to marry. My mother had a
happy marriage to my Dad until he passed away, and my sister has a happy
marriage to her husband. They seldom ever even raise their voices at one
another. Women are not genetically predisposed to being enigmas. This is
something they learn from the female society around them. This kind of
behavior is rampant in America, but virtually nonexistent in many other
cultures around the world. Just try to be a gentleman at all times and you
will set yourself apart from the unholy scumbags. The women in your life
will keep coming back for more. |
